Pimento Cheese Cornbread

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups cornmeal
  • ½ cup all purpose flour
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 16 oz Jay D’s Pimento Cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350℉.
  2. Combine dry ingredients.
  3. Add all wet ingredients plus pimento cheese.
  4. Mix until combined.
  5. Place in buttered cast iron skillet.
  6. Bake 35-40 min or until golden brown and is pulling away from skillet.
