Asian Barbecue Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 cup of Jay D’s Louisiana Barbecue Sauce
- 3 oz. pineapple juice
- 2 tablespoons of dark brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons of fresh ginger, minced
- 3 1/2 tablespoons of low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons of sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon of mirin
- 2 teaspoons of cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon of cold water
Directions
- Combine all ingredients except cornstarch in a small saucepan and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Make a slurry with corn starch and cold water.
- Add slurry to sauce and bring back to a simmer.
- Allow to cool.
